Owner's comments

Grafted scions of Maiden's Blush onto MM111, Antonovka and Bud9 rootstocks. Vigorous growth; after one season in the nursery, trees have grown from 3-inch scions to 5-foot whips. Maiden's Blush is the most vigorous grower in my nursery, it has excelled on three different rootstocks (even the Bud9 scions are a full foot taller than others grafted at the same time). Second year trees grew many branches after being headed back in March, adding another 1' - 2' in height.
