Owner's comments

My mother, who passed away aged 92 in mid 2000, planted this Howgate Wonder (but in the belief that it was a Charles Ross!) sometime, we believe, during the early 197os - and what a marvellously delicious and copious-cropping apple tree it has proved to be! In fact, with the exception of year 2010, we cannot recall a time when the crop weight and quality hasn't been a success.
