Owner's comments

20130816: After two years of languishing, Muscat de Bernay has started growing. It hardly had any new growth the past two years which I attribute to getting use to the environment. This year for some reason, the tree sprouted branches now measuring about 2.5-3 feet. So if your Muscat de Bernay is a slow grower the first year or two, don't worry. Let it be and it will start growing eventually. 20120310: Sprayed with dormant oil and bordeaux spray. 20120309: Planted a beautifully branched Muscat de Bernay. Will lie between Spitzenburg and Kingston Black (still waiting for receipt). 20110703: Ordered this apple from Trees of Antiquity in July 2011 for Spring 2012 delivery.
