Owner's comments

Young tree on trial. Good results so far. Reasonable crops from the year after planting, contrary to widely-made claims that "vigorous" M25 rootstocks take many years to crop. Not too heavy fruit losses to pests, unlike most earlies. Needs to be left on the tree for as long as possible to obtain the very finest flavour. Slightly later ripening than some of "the books" say; best in Late August-Early September. Not particualrly prone to disease, but not the highest level of resistance.
