Owner's comments

I have been told this tree is approximately 30 years old though it may be more - it is broad and sturdy. Interesting that it is apparently so sturdy and such a prolific fruiter on its own roots. The Beauty of Bath (grafted), in comparison, is still very small - despite being approximately 15 years old - and, though the fruit is lovely, I would say that the tree is less healthy than the Bramley. I may try to grow another on its own roots.
