Owner's comments

This is still a young tree, but it crops very heavily. I had to resort to maypoling during the past four years. Without it, the branches break. Fewer apples in 2012 - not altogether surprising, given the weather we had.

Season records for this tree

  • 2013

    Spring blossom: 14 May
Loaded with blossom (even if it's ten days later than last year) - best I've ever had.

Even more blossom this season; the tree looks really healthy

The most blossom the tree has yet carried
