Owner's comments

This tree that I planted last season is really just starting to fruit this year with approximately 15 apples on board. Planted in the espalier fashion it has recently had a grafting of the apple "Tentation" successfully jointed to it. In the next 2 to 3 years it will have a grafting of either "Tydemans Late Orange" or the New Zealand re-released "Takapuna Russet" added. The resultant tree will then have two tiers of Braeburn, two tiers of Tentation and one tier of either the Russet or the Late Orange on top. This hopefully will give me a height of about 2.3 metres and a spread of about 3.6 metres.
