I had a Charles Ross apple tree when I lived in Hampshire. I bought it as a young tree and it was about fifteen years old when I moved to Northumberland, twenty-five years ago. It gave a good crop of large apples - the very best I have ever tasted - and I was very sad to leave it behind.
It was growing in a garden in Lymington, Hampshire, but I have no idea what happened to it after I left.
I would dearly like to find another Charles Ross apple tree. Any suggestions for finding a grower?
