Owner's comments

Semi dwarf Gala apple arbol de mazanas. This tree is less than a couple of years old. This is the first year in my garden. It was just a stick, it now has 3 limbs and is 6 feet tall plus. It was very slow to start in the spring, but now seems to have taken off very well. I have not seen any signs of mildew, which I am told this tree is prone to getting. Lets hope this good start is a sign of a good tree that I hope will thrive here. This Gala has gotten to about 8 feet tall and last year had several blossoms. This year it has barely started to sprout and the date is March 27 2010. I am sure it will show more blossoms this year and may even give fruit. Last year the blossoms formed what looked like an apple but they fell off.
