Jubileum plum
An attractive modern plum, similar to Victoria but larger.
Jubileum is essentially an improved version of the popular Victoria plum. Like Victoria, it excels as a culinary plum, but it is arguably superior for eating fresh.
The fruit is larger and a slightly darker red than Victoria
Jubileum was developed in Sweden in the 1980s. It is sometimes known as Jubilee - which, confusingly, is also the name of a similar Victoria-style plum developed in 1905 by the famous Laxton Brothers nursery in the UK.
