Small Ones Farm is a family-owned orchard and vegetable farm in Amherst, MA. We use earth-friendly and people-friendly growing practices (i.e., NO synthetic chemicals). We are members of the Certified Naturally Grown program, which uses the USDA certified organic growing guidelines. When you taste our naturally grown fruit, you'll experience local, family farming at its best.
Products / Fruit Grown
We grow over 40 varieties of apples. Common varieties include Empire, Macoun, and Liberty. Lesser known varieties include Spigold, Mutsu, and Davey. Art's Favorite is a delicious variety that originated on our farm. Stop by our farm stand and find your favorite variety.We also grow peaches, Asian pears, D'Anjou pears, Shiro plums, raspberries and blueberries. We press our own unpasteurized apple cider, make our own apple cider vinegar, and our delicious apple pies.
